I’m so happy you found me.

I am so thankful for the recent opportunity I had to create a mural that I have absolutely fallen in love with . Ultimately, the piece is a geographical representation of lineage, heritage, and love.

I hope you like it, too.

(take a look at the process)

This mural is located on the north side of the new location of Hruska’s Kolaches in Sugarhouse. In this creation, I was heavily influenced by the beauty of family, ancestry and the absolute power that can be found in unity and resilience.

The original line drawing is based on a map of a city called Ostrava, located in the Czech Republic. This is the area where the owners’ great-great grandmother lived, and whose recipe inspired the dough used in the kolache shop. Family ties have always been important to this business and from what I can tell, always will be.

In addition to my mural work, I have chosen to include a variety of pieces I have created over the years; some new, some old.

(And yes, I made those crossword puzzles. I’m a bit of a word-nerd, and very proud of it.)

Bon appétit.

If you like what you see, send me a “hello”.
